    It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phillip Russell Sr, who peacefully left this world on November 11, 2024, in Gallatin, Tennessee, surrounded by family. He was born on January 26, 1946, and lived a fulfilling and adventurous life. From joining the circus to marrying the love of his life; his life was nothing short of an adventure.

    Phillip was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and contagious laughter. He had a passion for life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, making memories that will last a lifetime.

    Throughout his life, Phillip was dedicated to his family and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a pillar of strength and support for many, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

    Phillip's love for the outdoors was evident in his hobbies of fishing, camping, and hiking. He enjoyed exploring the beauty of nature and sharing his adventures with those closest to him. His sense of curiosity and wonder inspired those around him to embrace life to the fullest.

    Phillip is preceded in death by his loving wife Edna Russell, survived by his children Jenny Allen, Chris Anderson, Anthony Anderson Sr, and Phillip Russell Jr. Leaves his legacy to his grandchildren: Desmond Goosbly, Tyler Goolsby, Jacquelin Gooch, Rhine Siner, Ciera Amenyo, Emma Phyllis Gift Wilson(his birthday twin), Anthony Anderson Jr, Austin Anderson, Aiden Anderson, Shawn West, Marissa West, Jaime West, Chris Anderson Jr, Alora Anderson, Abby Anderson,Tori Anderson, Denay Anderson and his 30+ great grandchildren. His legacy of kindness, compassion, and love will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

    His memory will be forever etched in our hearts, and his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us in our own journeys through life.
