Pearlia attended Dewight D Eisenhower High School where she excelled as a leader. She began a career at Oak Forest Hospital after receiving her certificate as a certified nurses aid. After 20 years service at the United States Postal Service she retired and looked foreword to traveling, reading the newspaper, planting lots, and lots of flowers, and playing solitaire. She was a social butterfly.
Pearlia also worked for the post office where she retired after 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, and playing cards. She was a social butterfly who was always willing to lend a kind ear. A women without preduice but full of compassion. She touched many lives with her wisdom, grace, and encouraging words.
Pearlia will be lovingly rembered by her husband Williie of 57 years and eight children (Ricardo, Lamond-deceased, Crystal, Cindy, Kenneth ,William, Cheryl and Jessie, 18 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of friends and family. Her life has been inspirational in our family tree of life and memories that will never been forgotten. You will always hold a special place in our hearts...
