Paula A. PhilipbarSalt Point - Paula A. Philipbar died suddenly on Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was born on February 18, 1953 in Poughkeepsie, NY to Harold and Shirley Miller Denning. Paula married Michael J. Philipbar on September 24, 1983 at Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie, NY who survives at home. A local resident all her life, Paula graduated from Arlington High School in 1971. She was previously employed at the Dutchess Bureau of Medical Economics for 15 years and was presently working for the Bank of Millbrook for 22 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church and loved cats and attending country craft shows.In addition to her loving husband of 33 years, Paula is survived by her daughters Mallory Philipbar and Hillary Philipbar, sister Diane (Brian) Skinner, brother-in-law and sister-in-law David and Rita Philipbar, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc. 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY.
