Paul Vincent PersingerSHREVEPORT, LA - Paul Vincent Persinger, 46, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at home in Shreveport, LA, with his mother by his side. Paul was born on October 2, 1970, in Indianapolis, IN. and moved to Shreveport in 1984. He was a 1989 graduate of Southwood High School.Paul had many, many friends and helped many people. He enjoyed working on automobiles, drawing, and spending time with his friends along with his cat and his dog.He is survived by his mother, Willfretta (Pat) Persinger of Shreveport; his brother, James A. Persinger Jr. and his wife Janice of Carrollton, GA; his Aunt Betty Pomeroy of Berlin Heights, OH; his sister-in-law, Penny Lockaby of Indianapolis, IN; along with four nieces. Paul is preceded in death by his father, James A. Persinger, Sr. of Shreveport; his brother, Howard Lockaby of Indianapolis; along with several aunts, uncles, and grandparents.Paul's memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 2, 2017, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, located at 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, LA 71108.
