Paul Anthony MedinaPaul Anthony Medina passed away on November 30, 2016 at the age of 61. He was born on April 1, 1955 and graduated from San Pedro High in 1973. During his time there he played varsity football all 3 years and was a part of the Rookies. He served in the Army for 3 years after high school and later went to Southern Utah State University to play football. He then worked as a L.A. County Sheriff Deputy and retired after 20 years to become a bodyguard to continue protecting others. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Medina, daughter, Emily Ann Medina, sister, Adela (Jimmy) Stine, nephews, Marty, Chris, Paul, Greg, and a great nephew, two great nieces and his aunts Marie (Gilbert) Zimmerman, Aurora Ross, and uncle, Constantino Medina.
