Paul Mason LandschulzCoshocton : Paul M. Landschulz, 82, passed away peacefully in his home on September 13, 2017. He was born on November 14, 1934 in Dubuque, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1956, the same year he married Coshocton native Mary Ellen McConnell. He is survived by Mary Ellen and their five children: Sue Ellen (Frank) Kern of Wichita, Kansas; Jayni Sims of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Ann (Wes) Simpson of Coshocton; Mark (Kathy McCarty) Landschulz of Birmingham, Michigan; Julie Eldridge of Tucson, Arizona; fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. Also surviving is brother Jack (Susan) Landschulz of Florida. Paul was preceded in death by parents T.W. and Elizabeth Landschulz, his brother Bill (Marja) Landschulz, and two grandchildren. Paul served as President of Coshocton Grain Company for 35 years, and Manager of Tri Mac Farms for much of that time. He spent an active retirement nurturing his black walnut trees on his farms throughout Coshocton County. He served on the Six County Mental Health Board for 15 years. He was the Chairman for the first ever Clean Up Coshocton Day, and President of the Bois Blanc Island Association for eight years. He was a member of National Corn Growers Association and Eastern Ohio Forestry Association. As an active member of the Presbyterian Church, he served on the Board of Deacons. Paul was an avid snow skier, ice skater, and bridge player. He also enjoyed swimming, water skiing, and spending time with Mary Ellen and their family. Calling Hours will be held on Monday, September 18 at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home from 5-7 P.M. The funeral service will be held in the Presbyterian Church, Custer Chapel on Tuesday, September 19 at 3:00 P.M.
