Paul Walter DunnROSEVILLE: Paul Walter Dunn, formerly of Roseville, passed away at 10:15 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2014 under the loving care of the staff of Beckett House and Genesis Hospice. He was born on September 7, 1928 in Roseville the son of the late Walter James and Carrie Carrell Dunn. He graduated from Roseville High School in 1946. He married Almeda Marlene Patton on July 22, 1950. He worked at Dunn Trucking as an early teen and then worked at Chesterhill Stone Co. for 45 years. He enjoyed sports especially tennis, basketball, and was a fastpitch softball pitcher. He was very involved in the Roseville Little League as a vice-president. He was active in the Philo Band Boosters. He loved spending summers camping and fishing in the Thousand Islands in Canada and attending Ohio University basketball games. He loved teaching his grandchildren skills in various sports and always taking time for his family. He also enjoyed hunting pheasants and rabbits. He is survived by one son, Paul Michael (Lynn) Dunn; two daughters, Amy Lynn Dunn (David Hina) and Mariann Bush; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Nora Brown; one brother, Donald (Margie) Dunn; sister-in-law, Opal Dunn; many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Almeda Marlene Dunn and two brothers, Lawrence Robert "Bob" Dunn and Carrell Dunn. Special thanks to the Beckett House and Genesis for their loving care.Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2014 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2014 at the funeral home with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
