We are gathered here today to celebrate the life, Accomplishments, and memories of Paul Alexander Green, Sr. Son of Robert “Bobby” Green, Sr. And Kay Johnson Harris, Paul was born in Syracuse, Ny october 9, 1962. He attended Syracuse public schools and discovered at an early age that he excelled in public service. His early jobs were collective of custodian positions which included the original carousel mall and supervisor position for a local sewer company.
Paul also discovered his passion for cooking and became a lead chef for Phoebe’s restaurant in downtown syracuse. He continued his career in the culinary field when he moved to Brunswick, GA in the fall of 2000. He worked at sea island for 10 years and had the honor of preparing a meal for the late president George H.W. Bush; which by far was one of his greatest moments next to being a father.
He strengthened his faith, connection, and devotion to the lord when he became an ordained deacon at first Grove missionary Baptist Church (Brunswick, GA). As a very active parishioner, Paul sang in the FJG Male choir, cooked for the seniors in action group, and prepared Sunday breakfast for the congregation. He was also a faithful member of their prayer warriors ministry.
paul was always full of optimism, Joy, and positivity. He was always the life of the party, quick to jump on the microphone, never hesitant to hit the dance floor, and was never afraid to be his true self. He always made a statement with his style and appearance. Whether he was in his sunday best with the flyest shoes or styling in a color coordinated outfit with a matching hat; he would always stand out as one of a kind.
Paul quietly and peacefully departed this life on August 1, 2025 in Brunswick, GA. He was predeceased by: (Mother) Kay Johnson Harris, (Father) Robert “Bobby” Green, SR, (Brother) Mark Green and (Sister) Christine Green.
His life will forever be remembered and cherished by (Son) Paul Green, JR. (Rhamani); (Daughters) Nanika Green Clarke, Fierra Green, Mercedes Green; Seven grandchildren; A great granddaughter; (Brothers) Robert “Bobby” Green, JR. (Diane), Kevin Green (Carol), Jerome Green, Donovan Green; (Sisters) Marlene Rashad, Mary Louise Green, Deborah (Green) Little; (wife) Connie Green; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
