Patrick Hope1961 - 2016Patrick Hope, 54, of Kenosha passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016, at UHS-St. Catherine's.Patrick was born on July 8, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Donald and Regina (Grigsby) Hope. He was educated in the Catholic Schools of Columbus. He was employed for many years at Sterigenics as a general manager. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Gurnee, Ill., and the Knights of Columbus of Gurnee, Ill. His hobbies included a love of electronics, photography, and spending time with family and friends.Survivors include his mother, Regina Hope of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Donald Hope of East Carbon, Utah, Jim (Mary) Hope of Johnstown, Ohio, Michael Hope of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Sandra (George) Eberts of Athens, Ohio, and Donna Potteiger of Johnstown, Ohio.Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Donald.A visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016, at St. Paul's the Apostle Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031, from 5 p.m. 6:30 p.m. with a prayer vigil to follow at 6:30 p.m. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio.Patrick's family would like to thank the cancer family and nurses at St. Catherine's Medical Center and Father Ray Clennon for all of the care and support that they provided.
