It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick Townsend, who left this world on August 10, 2025, in Seaford, Delaware, United States. He was born on October 8, 1945, to Orland and Vernie Townsend.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife Gail Townsend, whom he married in 1965. Together they raised one daughter, Katelyn Townsend. He also leaves behind two beloved grandchildren.

Patrick attended North Dorchester High School, graduating in 1963. He continued his education at Wilmington College. He dedicated many years of his life to working at Maryland Plastics, retiring in 2014. Patrick also bravely served in the Maryland National Guards.

Among his many passions, Patrick loved working on cars. He was known for his skill and dedication to maintaining and restoring vehicles. His knowledge and expertise will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Patrick's battle with Mesothelioma is now over, and he has found peace. He will be remembered fondly by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
