Patricia M. "Pat" Palmer1927 - 2016Patricia M. "Pat" Palmer, 89, a resident of Attic Angels in Madison, Wis., formerly of Kenosha and Eagle River, Wis., died on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016. She was born on Jan. 26, 1927, in Chicago, Ill., to Joseph S. Klomann and Mary A. (Haggerty) Klomann. Pat married Glenn Palmer in 1947, who founded Modern Building Materials in Kenosha with his partner, Floyd Cecil.Pat was a devoted wife for 62 years and loving mother of five. Pat excelled at knitting, cooking and baking, cards, and fishing. Pat also enjoyed bowling, golf and water skiing even though she never learned to swim. She was an active member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Kenosha and St. Mary of the Snows in Eagle River. When photos were taken she loved to make everyone smile with her one, two, three S---. Mainly, Pat loved the time spent with family members and friends.Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, William; and sisters, Evelyn Klomann, Lorraine Cagle, and Dorothy Uttich. She is survived by her sister, Lucille Palmer; children, John (Ellen) Palmer of St. Cloud, Minn., Gerald (Kathleen Jordan) Palmer of Waunakee, Wis., Allen (Debbie) Palmer of Long Beach, Miss., Thomas (Kristy) Palmer of Three Lakes, Wis., and Jeanne (Edward) Halash of Northville, Mich. Pat also is survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at St. Mary of the Snows Anglican Church in Eagle River, Wis. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Attic Angels Employee Appreciation Fund, 8301 Old Sauk Road, Middleton, WI 53532.
