Patricia M. Taylor of Concord, passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at the Hospice House in Concord. She was born on Feb. 18, 1933, in Colorado Springs, Colo. where she grew up and then eventually moved to the Concord area. After Pat graduated from Concord High School, she worked at an Insurance Company in Concord. During this time, she met and married her husband of 63 years, Arnold H. Taylor and together, they raised five children. Pat worked at Concord Hospital for 17 years after graduating from the first OR Tech program offered by Concord Hospital. Pat was very active in the Girl Scouts as a troop leader and cookie chairman. She also was involved with Cub Scouts as a Den Mother and as a Round Table member. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Her hobbies included knitting and sewing for her children and grandchildren and many years of camping with her family and friends. Pat also enjoyed making and decorating cakes. She predeceased by parents, Gertrude Green and Bertram McCartney, her husband, Arnold H. Taylor and her daughter, Jeanine M. Taylor.She is survived by her sister, Barbara Willard of Grand Junction, Colo.; three daughters, Dot Goldstein and husband, Art of Olean, N.Y., Karen Nolin of Canterbury and Harriet DeGreenia and husband, Don of Concord; a son, Michael H. Taylor and wife, Roselee of Concord; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Pat also leaves behind her beloved Cocker Spaniel, Jane and her cat, Mickey.A graveside service will be celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 12 p.m. at the Veteran Cemetery in Boscawen.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pope Memorial SPCA, 94 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH 03301 and the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association Hospice House, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, NH 03301.Arrangements are entrusted to the Bennett Funeral Home of Concord.
