Patricia Ann "Pati" Carter
SEDALIA — Patricia Ann "Pati" Carter, of Sedalia passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016, at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia. She was born on April 24, 1951 in West Berlin, West Germany, the daughter of Lloyd Stanley "Jack" and Germaine (Neista) Auxier, who preceded her in death.
On July 30, 1994 in Sedalia she was united in marriage to David A. Carter, who resides of the home.
Pati was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was an active member of the Sedalia community for many years including, serving on the Sedalia Parks and Rec. Board. She started the Sedalia Doll Project with her friend Priscilla McCabe. She worked as the Director at the Workforce Development Board in Sedalia.
Besides her husband, she is also survived by four daughters, Krista Brown of Safety Harbor, FL, Jessica Jones of Sedalia, Elizabeth McKinney of Dallas, TX, and Caitlin McKinney of Marathon, FL; a son, Zan McKinney and his wife Sharma of Shawnee, KS; two brothers, Lloyd Stanley Auxier, II of Panama City Beach, FL and Mike Auxier of Tallahassee, FL; six grandchildren, Christopher Tyler (17), Ryland (10), Brecken (8), Rooke AnnMarie (5), Emersyn (2) and a new born on the way, Torin.
A prayer service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016 with Father Mark Miller officiating. A celebration of life gathering of family and friends will follow at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia
