Patricia "Pat" Barnes, 85, of Bremerton, WA passed away peacefully on January 25, 2012. She was born on May 30, 1926 and was raised in Port Orchard, WA, graduating from South Kitsap High School in 1944. She later went on to attend Olympic College where she obtained her LPN certificate and worked at Harrison Hospital for a number of years. She retired from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1974. Pat was a member of St. John Nuemann Catholic church in Yuma. She loved to travel and was an accomplished crafter, decorative painter, and quilter and also had a passion for embroidery and music. Pat enjoyed life as a snowbird in Yuma, AZ so much that she moved there full-time in 2000, just recently returning to Bremerton, WA to be close to her family. She loved her family and friends and will always be remembered in our hearts and our prayers. Pat is survived by her three children; a daughter, Nancy Young (James) Tacoma, WA; two sons, Brent Wolf (Patricia) Alpine, CA and Phillip Wolf (Audrey) Poulsbo, WA; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two nieces and a nephew. A private family memorial will take place at a later date. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
