Patricia Ann (Burnett) Hulit, 69 of Chalfant Valley, CA passed away with her family near her side in Carson City, NV on November 25, 2016 from a sudden onset of health complications. She was born on Dec. 6, 1946 to Eugene and Challie (Meeks) Burnett in Tulare, CA. In her childhood, Pat spent many years living in small towns and communities across California and graduated from Lee Vining High School, Lee Vining, CA in 1964. During her early adult life she moved to several small towns throughout California before settling in Bishop where she married William "Bill" Hulit on Dec. 27, 1982 and raised their three sons from previous marriages. Pat had many career jobs and completed her career as secretary at Rock Creek Pack Station. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, sewing and gardening. She also loved the outdoors where she spent time with friends and family camping, hunting, and archery shooting. Pat was an expert archery shooter and has won several archery tournaments across Nevada and California. She was a member of several outdoor clubs in the area. Being a wife and mother was a joy she took from life. She loved her family and spent all year shopping for Christmas gifts for her grandchildren and Great grandchildren. She also loved her animals including her two Beagle dogs. Pat is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Hulit; son, Ernie and Carol Hulit of Three Forks MT; son, Howard and D'Gena Hulit of Santa Margarita CA; son, Eric and Sandy Hulit of Gardnerville, NV, sister, Eileen and Paul Putkey of Warrenton, OR; brother, John Burnett of Round Mountain CA and parents, Eugene and Challie Burnett of Red Bluff, CA. She had many grandchildren including grand daughter, Cassie and Ben Ho, grand daughter, Cassie Young; grandson, Steven and Sara Dotts; grandson, Brandon Hulit; grandson, Allen Young; Great grandson, Maliki Young and Great granddaughters Nattalee Dotts, Lily Dotts and Rylie Dotts. Services and a Celebration of Life for Pat will be organized and announced at a later date.
