Pamela Lane, a beloved resident of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, passed away on March 26th, 2023, at the age of 73. She was born on January 1st, 1950 in Miami, Florida to her loving parents, John and Mary Lane. Pamela spent her childhood in Miami and attended Archbishop Curley-Notre Dame High School. However, she ultimately went on to attend Florida State University, where she graduated with a degree in education.
After graduation, Pamela was an elementary school teacher in the Broward County School District for 35 years. Her dedication to her students and passion for education was undeniable. She was beloved by many of her students, who remember her as kind, patient, and always willing to help them.
Pamela was a kind-hearted, gentle, and compassionate person who dedicated much of her life to helping others. She was an active member of her church community and enjoyed volunteering at local hospitals and soup kitchens. Pamela loved spending time with her family and friends, and many of them will remember her warm smile and infectious laugh.
She is survived by her brother, David Lane, her three children, Christopher, Jennifer, and Michael, and her six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sophia, Joseph, Benjamin, Ava, and Grace.
Pamela will always be remembered for her selflessness, her unwavering kindness, and her immense love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will take place at St. Helen Catholic Church in Lauderdale Lakes on March 31st, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Broward Education Foundation in Pamela's name.
