Pamela Marie Spinner (Nee Jaros), passed away peacefully while holding the hands of her sons Josh and Matt at 0613 on the 15th of October, 2024. The daughter of Frances Rand and Henry J Jaros, Pamela graduated from Willoughby South High School, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in education from Kent State University, a degree she paid for herself on a servers’ wages. She began her teaching career in East Cleveland, and made providing education services to underserved communities her mission. Shortly after her teaching career began, Pamela began working for the Cleveland Based Positive Education Program. During her many years there, she developed the innate ability to turn coworkers into lifelong friends. She would go on to obtain her masters degree while working full time and near single handedly raising two boys. Her commitment to educating and empowering children and young adults with special needs was genuine and ceaseless. The impact she had on the community she served continuously for 40 years is immeasurable. She changed the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to work alongside her.
The world is, undoubtedly, worse off without her in it. But we are all better for having had the privilege of being loved by her. Her unconditional love for her children and grandchildren will be felt for generations to come. Her work ethic and tenacity serve as a model for all of us to carry forward.
She’s now moved on, to somewhere over the rainbow.
Services are as yet to be determined, the family will reach out when plans are solidified.
