It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Osamu Idehen, who was born on May 6, 1960 in Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria. He peacefully departed from this world on October 8, 2024.

Osamu was the beloved son of Osaze and Iyamu, and the loving spouse of Iosken, whom he married in the year 22. Together, they raised four children: Efosa Osamu (spouse Imade Efosa), Edith Osamu (spouse Osas Edekial), Eghaosa Osamu (spouse Helen Eghaosa), and Ezekiel Osamu. He was also a proud grandfather of four grandchildren.

Osamu dedicated many years of his life to working at Obaa Palace and retired in the year 2012. He had a passion for music and enjoyed spending time playing his favorite tunes.

On October 8, 2024, Osamu Idehen passed away due to cardiac arrest. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
