Orlandis Carltraze Matthews was born on July 23, 1970 to X Nathaniel Mosely and Janis Matthews. He was the oldest of six siblings. Orlandis was baptized at an early age at Tower Grove Baptist Church. Orlandis was a graduate of O’Fallon Technical high school and later attended Ranken Technical College to study Architecture.

Orlandis was a hard-working individual with a diverse career path. He began as a truck driver in San Antonio, Texas, and then moved onto construction work in Lake Charles Louisiana and most recently served as a Mail Handler for the United States Postal Service.

Orlandis was also a creative spirit, he enjoyed drawing, assembling model planes and tanks and indulging his passion for electronic.

Orlandis passed away on October 12, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father, X Nathaniel Mosely and grandmother Charlie Grace Matthews.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three brothers Christopher, Jason and Kerry Matthews two sisters Kendra and Ieshia Matthews, four nephews Anthony Crawford, Cameron and Justin Nelson and Dylan Edmond, three nieces, Jada Reed, Daja Matthews and Chloe Matthews and also great-nephews Jamir Nelson and Noel Lopez. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his brothers in love, Raymond Jackson, Clifford, Walker, Desmond Dabney, and a host of family and friends .
