Ora Broussard, 81, passed Sunday, July 22, 2018. Ora was born to Andrew Payton, and Annie H. Payton, July 13, 1937, in Franklin, Louisiana. She married Clifford Broussard Sr. in 1979, and they lived together in Patterson, La. Ora also became a Jehovah Witness in 1988. Everyone who came in contact with her loved her oh so much. Ora loved to cook and talk noise to her friends and family every day.

Ora is survived by 5 children: Two sons Eddie Payton of New Iberia,La Aaron (Mary)Payton of Patterson,La two daughters Debra Broussard and Valerie (Eric) Allen both of New Iberia,La and A granddaughter she also raised as her own Shonitel (Travis)Griffin of Patterson, La. 17 Grandchildren,55 Great Grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Ora was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Broussard Sr.; her parents, Andrew and Annie H.Payton; three sons Clifford Broussard Jr., Billy R.Payton, and Micheal Broussard; three brothers, Ivory Payton, Lenard Griffin, and Saul Howard and two sisters, Emma Bell Nico and Addie Mae Jones.
