Ora Frances WiseOra Frances Wise, 95, died May 2, 2017 following a lengthy illness.Graveside Services: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Greenlawn North Cemetery, Springfield, Mo.Memorials may be made to Pathways United Methodist Church, 1232 E Dale Street, Springfield, Mo, 65803.Frances "Frankie" was born on May 13, 1921 in Springfield, Mo, to the late Ralph and Minnie Goudelock. Frances graduated Springfield High School in 1938, and attended Draughon's Business College. She met the love of her life, fellow member, M. Earl (Bud) Wise, who predeceased her, at Dale Street/Pathways United Methodist Church. The two married in 1940 and made Springfield their home. At the time of her death, Frances lived in Fort Worth, Texas with her daughter Kate and family.Luckily for both her children, the late James E. Wise, and Kate, Frances chose to be a dedicated homemaker and Mom. She volunteered hours at their schools and at Dale Street Church, baking pies, cookies by the dozens, and candies by the pound to share. Nothing meant more to her than her family. We will miss Mom and our Meema, as she joins Dad and Jim, until we can all meet again in Our Eternal Home.Survivors: Daughter, Kate Middlemas and husband, John; Karen Wise, wife of the late Jim Wise; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Emily Middlemas, Robin Hoyt, John Wise and Karie Drayer; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Laura, Renee, Megan, Julie, Matthew, Jacob and Cody; great- great-grandchildren, Cecelia, Piper and Brycen; and good friend, Sharon Bruns.
