Oliver SumrallFuneral services for Oliver Sumrall, 86, of Pitkin will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 11 am at the Jesus Christ Worship Center in Cravens, with Rev. Greg Hillman officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.Visitation will be Friday, December 9th, from 4 pm until 9 pm at the church.Oliver, the son of Alex and Cordie Russell Sumrall was born on August 12, 1930, in Sumrall, Mississippi. He passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at his residence in Pitkin.Mr. Sumrall retired from the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He loved God.He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Yvonne "Betty" Sumrall and his daughter, Elaine Deason.He is survived by his son, Robert Sumrall & wife, Lisa of Leesville; son, James Sumrall & wife, Rhonda of Pitkin; daughter, Linda Scott & husband, Tom of Chicago, IL; son, Mike Sumrall of Pitkin; son-in-law, Mike Deason of Pitkin; nine grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Chad Sumrall, Jerry Deason, Chris Crumpler & Dustin Nesmith and Honorary Pallbearer will be Jacob Sumrall.Words of comfort may be expressed to the Sumrall Family at www.labbymemorial.com
