It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Olafemi Micheal Solanke, a beloved Nigerian man who passed away at the age of 87 due to tongue cancer. Olafemi, affectionately known as "Ola" to his loved ones, was a devoted father to his five daughters and one son, and a loving grandfather to his 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Ola was born and raised in Nigeria and lived there for most of his life before moving to New Jersey. He was a kind and generous man who always put his family first. He was a hardworking and dedicated individual who took pride in providing for his family.

Ola had a passion for music and was known for his love of playing the guitar. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them about his cultural heritage and passing down traditional Nigerian customs.

Ola's passing is a great loss to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through the lives of those he touched.

The funeral for Olafemi will take place from the 10th of February, 2023 until the 13th at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne, NJ 07002. The family invites friends to come and celebrate his life and pay their last respect.
