Odessa Hillis, born on April 14, 1933, peacefully passed away on November 12, 2024, in Adelanto, California, United States. She was the beloved daughter of Roosevelt and Mabelle Hillis. Odessa was a loving wife to Harry, whom she married in 1965.
Odessa is survived by her five children: Terra (spouse Dean), Carol (spouse Tyrin), Donna (spouse Kenny), Angela (spouse Greg), and Harry Jr (spouse Andrea). She was also a cherished grandmother to ten grandchildren.
Odessa was an active member of the NAACP organization and dedicated much of her time to helping others in need. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and tending to her plants.
Odessa Hillis will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Odessa passed away due to complications from cancer and dementia. May she rest in peace.
