We are gathered here today to remember and honor the life of Norm Shearer, who passed away on June 16, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio, United States. Norm was born on March 4, 1934, and lived a full and meaningful life.

Norm attended South High School and graduated in 1957. He went on to work for the City of Columbus, where he dedicated many years of service before retiring in 1987. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Norm was also deeply involved in the Jehovah Witnesses organization, where he offered his time and support to those in need.

Norm was a beloved husband to Vernon Shearer, whom he married in 1959. Together, they raised two wonderful children: Craige Shearer and Debbie Thomas. Craige is married to Janice, and Debbie is married to Reginald. Norm was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren.

Norm will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Rest in peace, Norm Shearer. Your legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
