Our beloved mother Nicole Rene Nakano passed away on January 19, 2016. She has gone on to a better place to be with her Lord. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Violet Turner.  She is survived by her loving husband, Tsukasa Nakano, her sons Colin and Damon Nakano, her daughter in-law, Soha Nakano, her grandson, Devon Nakano, her brother and sister-in-law, Dean Turner and Andrea Stewart and her nephews Aaron and David Turner.  Nicole was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 19, 1939. 

She moved to San Rafael, CA as a young girl and later graduated from San Rafael High School.  She worked as a medical secretary at the Presidio where she met he husband.  She had a caring spirit and a love of animals and couldn’t resistant taking in rescue cats.  She was always a spiritual woman and was a member of Saint Joseph’s Church in Cotati.  She enjoyed bible studies, catholic retreats and trips to Europe to visit Rome and the Holy Lands.
