CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Nicholas Anthony "Nick" Frattini, 24, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at the Levine & Dixon Hospice House at Southminster, after a brief illness. He was born on April 17, 1992, in Barre, Vermont, the son of Jay and Sonda Rouleau Frattini. He was a 2010 graduate of Providence High School and his quote from his yearbook was, "Remember the ones that will remember you." Nick was also a 2014 graduate of the UNC Charlotte with a degree in economics with a minor in criminal justice. He had a love for cars, he was an avid BMW enthusiast. He always dreamed of opening a car dealership and he did fulfill that dream by opening Carolina Luxury Autos LLC. Nick had a great work ethic and was a hard worker. Mr. Fix It, he could fix anything. He loved the family's mountain house, being on the lake and being at the beach. Both of these he was able to do in his last few months. Nick enjoyed boating, fishing, biking and long walks. He loved his brother, Nathan Paul, and enjoyed watching him play soccer.He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Louis Frattini, and his maternal grandfather and grandmother, Lucien and Gloria Rouleau.Nick is survived by his parents, Jay and Sonda Frattini; his brother, Nathan Paul Frattini; his longtime girlfriend, Cassia Hall; aunts, Donna Poirier and husband, Yves, Allison Rouleau, Rhonda Wobby and husband, Charles; his uncle, William Frattini and wife, Barbara; paternal grandmother, Barbara Frattini. Also surviving him are many loving and close cousins.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Matthews United Methodist Church, 801 South Trade St., Matthews, NC 28105. A nonprofit has been established in his name, "The Nicholas Foundation." In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contribution be made to the foundation and sent to 2317 Houston Branch Road, Charlotte, NC 28270.
