Nelson Martinez, a beloved member of the Boston community, passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 56. Born on March 21, 1968, Nelson was known for his kind heart and infectious smile. He was a hardworking individual who was dedicated to his craft and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Nelson will be remembered for his unwavering optimism and positive attitude, inspiring all those around him. Nelson Martinez went to be with the Lord into his eternal resting place on Sunday, August 4, 2024. After several years, he lost his battle with Parkinson’s disease and other related health issues. Nelson served his country for most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Carmen Martinez. His sister, Anita Zavala, and brothers, Marcus F., Juan F., Julio F., and Robert F. Martinez. He is survived by his loving wife, Edna A. Martinez, daughter, Noheli and Mitzi Martinez-Lopez. Grandson: Damare Baker as well as nieces, and nephews.His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, Nelson.
