It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nathaniel Lathan, who was born on March 24, 1949, in Redlands, California, United States, and passed away on October 6, 2025. He was the beloved son of Nathan and Alberta Lathan and the loving husband of Beverly, whom he married in 1985.

Nathaniel leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family. He was the proud father of five children - Latoya, Jonathan, Alton, Keriessa, and Patrick. He was also the doting grandfather of six grandchildren.

Nathaniel attended Centennial High School and graduated in 1969. After graduation, he proudly served in the Navy as an E-6 in the 2nd Division unit for 28 years. He was a dedicated and honorable serviceman, always putting his duty to his country first.

Outside of his military service, Nathaniel enjoyed spending time fishing, a hobby he cherished and found solace in. He was a kind and gentle soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

On October 6, 2025, Nathaniel passed away from a sudden heart attack, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family.
