Nannette "Nan" BolingSomis, CANannette "Nan" Boling died on Monday, December 12, 2016 with her 3 daughters by her side in Somis, California. She was 80. Nannette was born on October 9, 1936 in Los Angeles to Charles and Cleo Cooper. She attended St. Vincent College of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse in 1957. Nannette spent most of her career working at Ventura County Mental Health. Nannette was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, and traveling. Her family and friends will always remember her as a supportive and caring person.She is survived by her four sisters, one son, three daughters and nine grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Griffin Family Funeral Chapels, 1075 E. Daily Dr., Camarillo. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Rd., Ventura with a reception to follow.Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Family Funeral Chapels (805)482-1166.
