Franz Nancy Clark Franz, of Laguna Vista, TX, died Saturday, November 12, 2016 at age 76. She was born on January 2, 1940 and was raised in Sidney, OH by John and Willa Clark. She was devoted to her family, friends and community and she was passionate about education. Nancy completed her Undergraduate and Masters Degree, taught for many years, then worked for the National Education Association, advocating for educators. She committed her time and energy to many worthy causes including AAUW (American Association of University Women) and she loved to travel. Nancy is survived by her loving companion, Roger Frasier and is preceded in eternal life by her son Kenan Sinks and her husband Wenzel Franz. She is also survived by her children, Mark F. Sinks, Melanie M. Vodnick, Michelle S. Hunt-Graham and their spouses and children as well as her step-children, Susan Franz Vartmann, John Franz, Terry Franz, Nancy Franz Cromes, Mark Franz, Wenzel Christopher Franz and their spouses and children. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held on Saturday, December 3 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's By the Sea in Port Isabel, TX with a reception to follow.
