Nafisa Chowdhury, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 24 in Frances, Washington, United States.
Born on July 3, 2000, Nafisa was a bright and compassionate soul who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was known for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones.
Nafisa had a passion for learning and was a diligent student throughout her academic career. She excelled in her studies and graduated at the top of her class from Frances High School. She went on to pursue a degree in psychology at the University of Washington, where she continued to impress her professors with her intelligence and dedication.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Nafisa was a talented artist who found solace in painting and drawing. Her vibrant and expressive artwork captured the beauty and complexity of the world around her, and she shared her creations with friends and family as gifts of love and appreciation.
Throughout her life, Nafisa was a pillar of strength and support for those around her. She was known for her empathy and compassion, always willing to lend an ear or offer a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness and generosity touched the hearts of many, and her memory will live on in the countless lives she has impacted.
Nafisa is survived by her parents, Sarah and Akbar Chowdhury, her siblings, Ayesha and Amir, and a large extended family and circle of friends who will miss her dearly. Though she may be gone, her spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all who knew her.
May Nafisa Chowdhury rest in peace, knowing that she was loved and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
