On January 28, 2025, the world said goodbye to a beloved member of the Los Angeles community, Nélida Luke. Born on January 7, 1933, Nélida lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished for years to come.

Nélida was a dedicated Nurse, using her skills and compassion to care for countless patients throughout her career. When she wasn't busy at work, she could often be found pursuing her hobbies of sewing, cooking, and spending quality time with her family.

She is survived by her two children, Mirella Gak and Katherine Reyes, who will forever carry on her spirit of love and generosity. Nélida was also a proud grandmother to four grandchildren, who adored her and will always remember the special moments they shared together.

Although Nélida's journey has come to an end, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.

Rest in peace, Nélida. You will be deeply missed.
