Lamers, MyronMyron E. Lamers, 89, of Lomira, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira.Myron was born on January 9, 1928, in Wrightstown, the son of the late Theodore and Cecilia (Klister) Lamers. On April 23, 1949, he was united in marriage to Marguerite Coulter at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Theresa. She preceded Myron in death on July 11, 1978. On May 23, 1980, he was united in marriage to Rosella "Sally" Rahlf at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Nabob. She preceded Myron in death on October 25, 1985.Myron was employed by Baker Canning Factory for many years as a supervisor. He then worked for Lackas Trucking, mowed the greens at Camelot Golf Course, and was a carrier at TSB Bank. Myron enjoyed hockey as a young man, baseball and football. Myron attended the Ice Bowl at Lambeau Field in 1967. He liked gambling, golfing and bowling, and bowled a perfect 300 game in April of 1979. Myron also enjoyed hunting with family and loved attending his grandchildren's sports activities.Those Myron leaves behind to cherish his memory include seven children, Michael (Jeane) Lamers of Beaver Dam, Mary (David) Tkach of Coon Rapids, MN, Stanley (Nancy) Lamers of Theresa, Stephanie (Dean) Buerger of Lomira, Michelle (Jeffrey) Bloch of Brownsville, Ted (Sue Mitchell) Lamers of Theresa, and Timothy (Lynnane) Lamers of Theresa; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Linda Lamers of Hales Corners; two sisters, Norrine Frank and Mary Helen (Dave) Treleven; three brothers, Quentin (Judy) Lamers, Ted (Fern) Lamers, and Richard (Marilyn) Lamers; four sisters-in-law, Corriene Lamers, Grace Lamers, Bette Quandt, Paulette Coulter; five brothers-in-law, Donald Dehn, John Coulter, Neil Coulter, Jim Ruecker, Richard Kallmann; other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents and Marguerite and Sally, Myron was preceded in death by a son, Mark Lamers; a granddaughter, Margaret Buerger; two brothers, Orville Lamers and Vince Lamers; a sister, Eunice Dehn; four sisters-in-law, Connie Roth, Sandy Ruecker, Gwen Kallmann, and Patricia Coulter; five brothers-in-law, Ed Quandt, Dave Roth, Glen Coulter, Keith Coulter, and Edgar Zeitler.A Mass of Christian Burial for Myron will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 699 Milwaukee Street, in Lomira with Rev. Thomas Biersack officiating. Burial will be held on Saturday at St. Theresa Memorial Gardens in Theresa. Myron's family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.
