MYRNA J. CROSS, 83 FREEPORT - Myrna J. Cross age 83, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Oakley Courts in Freeport, IL. She was born on January 26, 1932 in Elgin, IL. to Clyde and Gladys (Williams) Yeager. She married Roger Cross on November 26, 1953 in McConnell, IL. Roger passed away on December 26, 2006. Myrna worked at Newell until retiring in 1994. She enjoyed traveling and gambling. She is survived by 3 daughters; Vicki (Mike ) Monigold of Cedarville, Jeannette (Steve) Rafferty of Freeport and Cindy (Jeff) Lloyd of Cedarville. 5 grandchildren; Sara ( Jon) Grant, Amanda (David) Tyrawa, Elise (Chris) Castaneda, Kyle (Casey) Rafferty, Tom (Barbara) Lloyd, 2 sisters-in- law; Jewel Keith of McConnell and Sandy Sciutto of Cedarville, 2 great granddaughters; Gabrielle Castaneda and Ellison Grant. Special friends; Iola Hudson and Carol Holden. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers- in- law; Howard Keith and Tony Sciutto. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday December 10, 2015 at Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum in Freeport. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at Oakland. Officiating will Pastor Randy Nickolas. Interment will be at the Oakland Mausoleum. The family would like to thank both Hospice and Oakley Courts Staffs for all their wonderful care.
