We gather here today to bid farewell to Mr. Earnest Thomas Sr., who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 86 in Schriever, Louisiana. Born on September 14, 1939, to James and Mary Thomas, Earnest was known for his larger-than-life personality and his love of fishing.
Earnest married his beloved spouse, Irene, in 1940, and together they raised four children – Olivia, Bridget, Brandon, and Lanett. He was also a proud grandfather to three grandchildren.
Earnest attended Winnsboro High School, graduating in 1956. He was known for his mischievous sense of humor and his ability to always bring a smile to those around him.
Although Earnest has now passed on to the great fishing hole in the sky, his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Earnest.
