Moses S. (Sonny) Wright, age 59, of Pine Mountain, was called home on Sunday, June 1, 2014, at his residence.
Moses was born on May 16, 1955, in Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia, to the proud parents, David and Anease Wright. He was educated in the Dougherty County School System and later attended Tuskegee University where he received a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. He currently was a Manufacturing Engineer with Briggs and Stratton in Auburn, Alabama.
Moses is survived by a loving and devoted wife, Lynnette Wright; brother, David Wright, Jr. of Albany; sisters, Dianne Wright of Albany and Dr. Gwendolyn Wright of Raleigh-Durham, N.C.; nieces, Daphnie Miller and Christy Williams, both of Albany; special cousin and friend, Marvin (Bat) Jordan; a host of cousins, in-laws, and friends. Moses was also preceded in death by his loyal, loving dog, Rocco Wright.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at 3:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Thursday beginning at 1:00 until service hour at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Vernon, Ct.
