Keith Curry, beloved husband, father of Janisha Carstarphen and Kayla Smith. Left this world on August 8, 2023, with his infectious smile and joyful spirit. He was born on January 18, 1950, in Mobile, Alabama, where he lived a life full of laughter, love, and adventure.
From an early age, Keith had a zest for life that was simply contagious. He approached every day with a skip in his step and an unwavering commitment to spreading joy to those around him. Whether it was telling his famous dad jokes or organizing neighborhood barbecues, Keith had an unmatched ability to lift the spirits of everyone he encountered.
A true lover of the outdoors, Keith was often found exploring the beautiful landscapes of Alabama. From long hikes in the mesmerizing hills to lazy fishing trips down the serene rivers, he had an undeniable connection with nature. His friends and family fondly remember his adventurous outings, full of laughter, and his inexplicable talent for getting his fishing line tangled in tree branches.
Keith had an extraordinary passion for music. He could often be seen strumming his beloved guitar, bringing melodies to life and serenading anyone within earshot. His impromptu jam sessions were legendary, and his ability to harmonize with any tune left everyone in awe.
Aside from his love for life's simple pleasures, Keith was a dedicated family man. He cherished his wife of 45 years, Sandra, whom he met at a local dance party. Their love story was one for the ages, filled with countless salsa dances and romantic picnics under the stars. Together, they raised three wonderful children who inherited their father's love for laughter and adventure.
Keith's spirit will forever live on in the countless memories he leaves behind. He taught us the importance of finding joy in every situation and that life is best lived with a smile on our faces. Even though he has left this earthly realm, his laughter will continue to echo in the hearts of all those lucky enough to have known him.
In honor of Keith's memory, the family kindly requests that you make a donation to the Smile Foundation, an organization dedicated to bringing smiles to children's faces in difficult times.
Cheers to you, Keith Curry, for a life well-lived and for reminding us to laugh along the way. We will forever miss your bright presence and carry your joyful spirit in our hearts.
