On February 20th, 2025, the world lost a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Moses Cooper Jr, born on May 14th, 1944 in Valdosta, Georgia to Moses Sr & Mary Cooper, he peacefully passed away after complications from surgery.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vanessa Cooper, whom he married in 1983. Together, they raised a beautiful family of 10 children: Antonio(Carmen), Gabrielle(Jerry), Moses III(Amber), Lakasha(Martel), Gabriel, Aleshia(Rashad), Benjamin(Audrianna), Jarvis(Kannesha), Darius, and Zackary.

Siblings

Throughout his life, Moses was known for his dedication to his family and his work at Heritage Nursing Home. He was a proud attendee of Valdosta High School and always brought laughter and joy to those around him.

Although he may be gone, the memories of Moses will live on in the hearts of his children and hosts of grandchildren & great grands.

Rest in peace, Moses Cooper Jr. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
