GLEN ROCK Mildred E. "Millie" (Rohrbaugh) Smith, 75, loving wife, mother, grandmother, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Normandie Ridge following a brief illness. She was the wife of Terence B. Smith, with whom she celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on February 21, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church, 47 Hanover St., Glen Rock, with her pastor, the Rev. Ed Robbins, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Mrs. Smith was born on February 1, 1940, in Codorus Township, a daughter of the late Claude H. and Anna S. (Krebs) Rohrbaugh. She gradated in 1958 from Susquehannock High School and had been employed as a Dental Assistant with Dr. George A. Trout in Glen Rock and Shrewsbury for over 35 years. Millie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Glen Rock, where she was a former Sunday School teacher and served on various committees and she was an active member of the Women's Club of Glen Rock. She enjoyed helping others in the community, working in her garden, and mostly being with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Denise K. Russell and her husband, Eric of Glen Rock; a son, Dane T. Smith of Glen Rock; three grandchildren, Dr. Selinda Nehneis Van Dell of Nashville, Tenn., Aaron C. Nehneis of Baltimore, Md., and Jade E. Smith of Red Lion; and by three sisters, Cornelia K. Warner of York, Martha A. Martin of Glen Rock, and Mary E. Gobrecht of Hanover. She was predeceased by a brother, Allan L. Rohrbaugh.
