Floyds KnobsBeeler, Mildred Blye (Weller) "Til",98, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. She was born on May 21, 1918 to Frank and Rena Weller of New Haven, Kentucky. After graduating from Boston High School (KY) in May 1938, she was employed as a bookkeeper at Fort Knox Military Post and the Coca Cola Company in Elizabethtown, KY. She is preceded in death by her husband, Evangelist Estle Beeler; siblings, Logan Weller, William Weller, Edwin Weller, Floyd Weller & Virginia Hornback.Survived by her daughters, Bonnie Sue Gibson (Timothy) and Ann Beeler.Til enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing the piano and was a devoted homemaker. Her family would like to offer special thanks to Hosparus of Southern IN for the loving care she received. Thanks especially to Amber Dewitt RN and CNA's Jennifer and Cheryl, and the many other Hosparus employees. Gwen Powell, her caregiver, was a great comfort to us. Special neighbors are George & Vicki Dotts, Steve & Janice Hermon, and Carl & Goldie Schindler. We would also like to recognize the Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire Department for their occasional help. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN).
