Mike Kliwinski, 44, of Charlotte NC, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, the 10th of December 2016 at his residence. Mike was born on the 22nd of November 1972 in Trenton, New Jersey. At an early age, he started collecting comic books which turned into an avid hobby of his during his adult years. Anyone who knew Mike, knew that Spider-Man was his favorite superhero. In 1997, Mike graduated with his Associates Degree in Specialized Technology with a minor in Computer Engineering Technology from CHI Institute in Southampton, Pennsylvania. He furthered his education by completing his MSCE Certifications in 1999. Mike has worked in the IT field since graduating from CHI Institute. Mike was a diehard San Francisco 49ers fan - win, lose or anything in between, he was always faithful to his team. His goofy antics and contagious sense of humor made everyone gravitate to him and he could always make a person laugh or smile. A service to celebrate the life of Mike Kliwinski will be held at One o’clock in the afternoon, Saturday, the 17th of December 2016 in the Historic Morehead St. Chapel of Ellington Funeral Services. His loved ones will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Mike is survived by his girlfriend, Missi Long, his beloved boxer Sally and his three children; Riley Marie Kliwinski (12), Aaron Michael Kliwinski (10), and Michael “Mikey” Bryan Kliwinski (3).
