Our hard working father and longtime Anthony, NM Resident Miguel Guillén, Sr. devoted husband, died October 10, 2016 and went to be with his loving Savior. He was born on September 29, 1933 at Rancho San Miguel De Los Berros, Durango, Mexico.He is proceeded in death by his parents Arturo Saenz and Feliciana Guillén and his brother Jesus Guillén. Miguel is survived by his childhood friend, sweetheart and beloved wife Maria S. Guillén of 56 years. Besides his wife, Miguel leaves behind his daughter Yolanda M. Guillén his two sons Miguel Guillén, Jr., Enrique Guillén and their spouses E. Linda Rodriquez and Mary Ann Provido. His beloved grandchildren Michael Guillén (Evelin Alvarado), Becky Guillén, Loni Guillén, Ruth Guillén, A.J. Guillén, Carlos Guillén and two adoring greatgrandchildren Mia Marie and Michael Guillén.Miguel was a successful, prominent and accomplished businessman that was widely recognized by his community for his construction and development achievements in southern New Mexico. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling. Miguel was a generous individual who loved to share the word of God and who was passionate about changing the world. An ordained deacon for over 40 years, he was an active and dedicated member of Iglesia Bautista, El Buen Pastor in Las Cruces, NM. Our beloved father believed in spreading the gospel and therefore, donated land and a church building, Vida Nueva Bet-el Mission located in Berino, NM. Due to his charitable heart he was named an honored member of The Family of Believers at First Baptist Church of El Paso, TX. He was a good friend to many and to us our father, grandfather and great grandfather, he was the patriarch to our family and root of our family tree.A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. November 19, 2016 at La Paz – Graham's Funeral Home Las Cruces, NM. Reverend Ronnie Hernandez will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Miguel's life.
