Michelle Lynn Palm, 57, of Lakeland, FL, passed away August 14, 2025, with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Ken Madsen and Joyce Bivens, February 15, 1967, in Knox, Indiana. Michelle graduated from Knox Community High School in 1985.

She married Douglas Palm in 1987, and they lived together in Knox for twenty years before relocating to Lakeland. Michelle is survived by one child: Kent Palm, of Lakeland. She is also survived by two grandchildren.

Michelle loves to travel and was an Army Veteran. She passed her appreciation for travel and military to her son. Michelle was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. As her health declined, she often repeated the quote: "When I die, cherish your lives and those in it."

Viewing ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home. The burial will take place at 4 p.m. at the Lakeland Funeral Home cemetery. The family insists that people make donations in support of breast cancer research, in lieu of sending flowers.
