Michael Warren AlmarodeAge: 60 • Stuarts DraftMichael Warren "Mike" Almarode, 60, husband of Vicki Sue (Shaw) Almarode of 89 Kline Drive, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at his residence.Mr. Almarode was born on September 22, 1956 in Staunton, a son of the late Paul Russell Almarode and Lena Virginia (Puckett) McNeal.Mike was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and was retired from Invista as a Maintenance Planner.  Mike was an avid golfer and he cherished time spent with his family and many special friends.Surviving in addition to his wife of 17 years, are two daughters, Chelsea R. Almarode of Smith Mountain Lake and Kaitlyn D. Almarode of Stuarts Draft; two step-sons, Tyler Meadows and wife Jessica of Waynesboro and Zach S. Meadows and wife Jordan of Stuarts Draft; his step-father, Henry McNeal of Staunton; a brother, Howard E. McNeal and wife Linda of Verona; a sister, Pam A. Ritchie and husband Jeff of Churchville; three nephews, Victor, Dexter and Brady Ritchie and two nieces, Nicole Corbin and Megan Dull.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.A Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in Calvary United Methodist Church by Rev. Charles Reynolds.Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.Active pallbearers will be Mark Davis, Todd Knicely, Mark Childress, Mike Ellis, Doug Harlow, Matt Kirschnick, Johnny Stevens and Dale Burford.Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Henderson and Gary Argenbright.It is suggested that those so desiring make memorial contributions to the Augusta Health Foundation Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O.
