McDONALD, Michael (Mike) CharlesDecember 30, 1956 – Moncton, New BrunswickNovember 8, 2016 – Okotoks, AlbertaMichael (Mike) Charles McDonald, beloved husband of Theresa McDonald of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the age of 59 years. Mike was born on December 30, 1956 to Catherine and Charles McDonald in Moncton, New Brunswick. Mike grew up in Ontario, British Columbia and New Brunswick, and then graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1980 with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. He then relocated west to Edmonton in 1981 from New Brunswick. There, he began his thirty-six year career as a professional engineer in the oil and gas industry in Alberta. Mike and his family moved to Calgary in 1999. Mike is survived by his loving wife Theresa; sons Ian and Colin; sisters and brother-in-law Karen Jaworski, and Brenda and Dave Zimmerman as well as nieces and nephews, Susan, Mary, Sarah, Joseph, Peter, Francis, Jillian and Jordan. He will also be remembered by numerous aunts, cousins, friends and loved ones from Alberta to New Brunswick and New Hampshire to Kansas, USA. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
