We mourn the passing of Michael Burgo, born on October 18, 1957, in Haddonfield, New Jersey, United States, to Joseph and Mary Burgo. He peacefully departed this world on January 7, 2025.

Michael leaves behind his beloved spouse, Marguerite DeLape, whom he married in 1947. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Kristen Burgo, Alex DeLape, and Matthew Ham. He also leaves behind one cherished grandchild.

Michael attended Paul the VI High School, graduating in 1972. He then went on to serve in the Army, where he dedicated his life to protecting his country. He retired from the Army in 2001, after many years of honorable service.

In his retirement, Michael devoted his time to helping others through the Christ Our Light organization. He had a passion for fishing, hiking, and performing magic tricks that brought joy to those around him.

Michael Burgo will be remembered for his bravery, his kindness, and his sense of humor. He leaves behind a legacy of service and love that will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
