Soch, Michael D.Michael D. Soch, age 60, a Manitowoc resident, died on Wednesday evening, July 5, 2017 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. Michael was born on January 3, 1957 in Manitowoc, son of Geraldine (Karl) Soch and the late Donald Soch. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1975. On December 23, 1998 he married the former Debra Pete in Manitowoc, WI. He was employed with Mirro for almost 30 years and was currently a semi driver for Valley Transfer of Green Bay. Michael was an avid reader and Packers fan. He enjoyed spending time in the sun, cookouts and bonfires. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and daughter Lisa. Survivors include his wife: Debra Soch, Manitowoc; one daughter: Lisa Soch, Manitowoc; his mother: Geraldine Soch; three step-children: Melanie (Dan) Challe, Jeremiah Behnke, LeAnn Behnke; five step grandchildren: Morgan Thompson, Sonny and Alfred (Bear) Waupoose, Miahlin and Athena Behnke; two sisters: Kathy (Ron) Dvorachek, Susan (Allen) Herrmann; mother of his children: Linda Lawrence; mother-in-law: Carol Plasky; father-in-law: Isaac Pete. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by one son: Christopher Soch. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 South 21st Street), Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Pleier with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening, July 9, 2017 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. The visitation will continue on Monday, July 10, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family by visiting
