Michael Merritts, born on June 20, 1953, in Forest Park, Georgia, United States, passed away on October 16, 2024. He was the beloved spouse of Deborah Merritts, with whom he shared many wonderful years of marriage since 2004.

Michael was a loving father to four Step Children, Lamont Brown, Christal Stewart (spouse Alfred Pace), Christopher Brady (spouse Patrice Bryd), and Jerry Brady (spouse Shirley Brady). He was also adored by his ten grandchildren.

Michael attended Booker T. Washington High School and later went on to work at DOT Containers. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and singing old-time gospel songs, activities that brought him much joy and peace.

Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
