Michael McELvain, born on March 25, 1947, in Portland, Oregon, passed away on September 15, 2024. He was the beloved son of Glenn and Ilene McELvain.

Michael is survived by his two children, Nicholas and Kristin, and four adoring grandchildren. He was a dedicated family man who always put his loved ones first.

Michael attended Benson High School in Portland and later went on to serve in the Air Force. After his service, he spent 25 years as a long-haul truck driver, traveling across a few states, and seeing the beauty of the open road.

In his free time, Michael enjoyed restoring older model vehicles and spending peaceful days fishing with his son and brother. He had a passion for exploring the great outdoors and found joy in working hard. Some of his most proudest moments were achieved at the annual swap meet. There he spread his seemingly infinite knowledge about old cars to a wide eyed, excited, and curious kid.

Michael's warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace, reunited with his parents, and brothers in eternal peace.
